About Burke Construction & Remodeling
Hi, I'm Sean Burke, owner of Burke Construction & Remodeling.
Construction and remodeling have been a part of my life since I was a young teenager. Over the years, I worked alongside a variety of remodeling contractors, learning multiple trades, refining my craftsmanship, and gaining experience on projects of all sizes. Those experiences shaped not only my skills, but also my understanding of how customers deserve to be treated.
I also proudly served the City of Philadelphia as a Carpenter and Playground Safety Inspector. That experience reinforced the importance of quality workmanship, attention to detail, safety, and doing the job right the first time.
In 2016, I founded Burke Construction & Remodeling with one goal in mind: to build the kind of company I always wished existed. Throughout my career, I saw contractors who rushed jobs, lacked communication, or treated customers like just another invoice. I wanted to build something different—a company founded on honesty, professionalism, quality craftsmanship, and genuine customer service.
Today, I personally oversee every project from the initial consultation to the final walkthrough. Whether it's a handyman repair, kitchen or bathroom remodel, basement finishing, deck construction, custom carpentry, plumbing, flooring, or a complete home renovation, every project receives the same level of care and attention to detail.

Every great company needs someone to keep spirits high, and for Burke Construction & Remodeling, that's Gunner. As our four-legged Chief Morale Officer, Gunner reminds us to slow down, enjoy the little things, and greet every day with enthusiasm.
While you won't find him swinging a hammer or reading blueprints, you'll often find him keeping an eye on the office, supervising from his favorite bed, and making sure everyone takes a well-deserved break. He's a beloved part of the Burke Construction family and a reminder that behind every business are real people who care about what they do.
